Billy Connolly's debut appearance on the late Michael Parkinson's eponymous chat show in 1975 made the Glasgow comic a household name overnight - all thanks to THAT joke.
The late great Sir Michael Parkinson interviewed countless guests over the years, but it's his chats with Glasgow's own Billy Connolly that will be most fondly recalled among telly fans north of the border.
The pair spent the first couple of minutes chatting about life in Glasgow and the shifting attitudes among Scots since the discovery of North Sea oil - then came the Billy's immortal words: "I hope I can get away with this - it's a beauty!" His final appearance came on December 16, 2007, for the penultimate episode of Parkinson.
