Take a stroll down the city centre street with some of the area's oldest stores and newest venues
Fenwick Street houses some of the city's oldest establishments which rub shoulders with lively new underground bars and pubs. A quick glance on one side of the street will show you classic storefronts with much of the original woodwork and signs which are still in remarkable condition.
When they opened in 2008, owners Lee and Yeom had no previous experience in food service. Now Chop Chop is a staple in the area and the place to go for delicious Korean food. It's worth getting there early if you want to beat the lines stretching out of the door. Wrapping up the "old" Liverpool is another lively venue hidden away down a side passage. The Cornmarket is your typical old-school pub with garish carpets and waxed wood. It's still a hotspot for locals.
