The hard-earned point on the South Coast moved Liverpool on to 17 from eight games, just three points behind early pace-setters Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal - but supporters should be encouraged by the opening two months from Klopp's side. With the first home match of the Europa League also done and dusted before the international, it wasn't quite the European nights Liverpool fans are used to at Anfield with the atmosphere not quite what the Reds are used to.
