“The RSPB approved native hedging [will] combat heavy levels of pollution, eat up the carbon, make it pretty for the birds and something attractive for the residents,” said Choel Cartwright, the co-founder of the ACA. “We have already had blackbirds coming, everyone is welcome to our next event, check out our socials for updates”.
Francis Muscatelli, from UoM Volunteering Team, added: “We want students to get to know the area and feel connected with Ardwick and Brunswick and for there not to be a divide between students and communities. "We are working hard to create projects and opportunities for the two to come together and be mutually beneficial".
