The season of big coats and scarves is upon us - are you looking forward to it?
A much desired heatwave has hit Manchester after a pretty wet and miserable month. People are making the most of their summer wardrobe while the sun is out - long may it last - before it gets tucked away for another year.
One woman who doesn’t let the season define her style is 25-year old Jada Giwa from London. Rather than dressing for the weather, Jada prefers to wear bright colours and shiny pieces, and I can say it definitely reflects Jada’s warm and bubbly personality. “I’m not really someone who changes their outfit depending on the season, I don’t like to do the whole trends and follow things people say are “specifically for winter”, I just do what I like and feel good in.”Another person on the vintage train is Hal Coas, who says he cannot wait for summer to end. The 29-year-old from Surrey was wearing a casual outfit, yet looked effortlessly chic with his turtleneck and charity shop cargos.
“I’m looking forward to it not being summer, I really don’t like summer, and also I’ll be able to dress more like this.”
