The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself is unapologetically sexy and queer
to this small but growing list, even if that uniqueness isn't particularly obvious from the get-go.
Between his blonde 'gay crisis' hair and the mysterious tattoos all over his body, Gabriel immediately shifts the tone of the show into something more adult and decidedly more sexy. Don't take our word for it though. Right after Nathan and Annalise meet Gabriel for the first time, they decide to give into their lust for each other and make out in the shower.
Later in that same episode, Gabriel betrays Nathan and Annalise, but in a twist on that earlier boyfriend flashback, he decides to go back for them and undo his mistake. From then on, a different dynamic forms between Gabriel and the others, especially when it comes to Nathan.
Nathan joked earlier on in the show that"Harry shags Hermione at the end" before realising it's actually Ron, but it's safe to say you wouldn't catch those three all shagging each other at the same time. And that's true of pretty much any other YA fantasy we can think of too.
