It’s a budding, and somewhat chaotic, relationship that is capturing the attention of The Archers fans, but actress Daisy Badger reckons the ongoing lesbian romance between her alter-ego Pip Archer and Stella Pryor is long overdue.
It is the first lesbian relationship in the history in the radio show, which holds the record for the longest running soap in the world,Daisy, alongside former EastEnders and The Bill actress Lucy Speed, who plays Stella, couldn’t be happier to be involved in the story arc. What it has been is complex, particularly as Pip has until now only had relationships with men, namely her most recent ex Toby Fairbrother, with whom she shares daughter Rosie.
