The UK’s largest supermarket chain warned shoppers yesterday that time is nearly up to sign up for a delivery saver plan if they want to secure early access to online Christmas delivery slots this year.
Tesco is preparing its customers for Christmas as their delivery saver slots have opened a week earlier than last year. Anyone who is signed up to their anytime delivery plan or anytime click + collect plan can get a two-week head start with slots opening to this group at 6am this coming Tuesday 7 November. Remaining slots not on the schemes open on November 21.
As long as customers sign up to the relevant Delivery Saver plan by this coming Monday November 6, they will benefit from access to priority Christmas slots for 2023 - Birmingham Live reports. The benefits aren’t limited to Christmas – Delivery Saver is Tesco’s subscription-based delivery service designed to help reduce the cost of regular online food orders, with a range of plans running for 6 or 12 months and starting from just £2.49 a month.
The plans mean any orders will be delivered to you or available through the Click+Collect service at selected stores. Tom Denyard, Managing Director of Tesco Online said: “As we help customers plan ahead for their Christmas shop this year, we want customers to know that time is running out to sign up for a Delivery Saver Anytime Plan plan and benefit from festive priority slot bookings which go live on Tuesday.
“We look forward to helping customers across the UK pick up some family favourites or treat themselves to something special this festive season and our convenient Delivery Saver plans not only give you early access to slots this Christmas, but they can also save you an amazing £176 a year on delivery or collection fees*.
