'Masked men' reportedly stole stock from the store

Merseyside Police were called at around 4.05am on Friday, August 25 to the supermarket giant's Express branch on Mill Lane, in West Derby, after reports a blue Vauxhall Crossland had driven into the shopfront. Pictures from the scene show a car reversed into the right, front window of the shop, completely smashing the glass.

They said: “Our Mill Lane Express store is currently closed while our maintenance team work hard to ensure the front of the store is safe for customers and colleagues. We apologise for the inconvenience and hope to reopen the store later this week.”
