Allison Riley says her pet chihuahuas were targeted by an aggressive dog whose owner then launched a 'torrent of abuse' at the shocked 49-year-old mum.
A Scots mum has spoken of the terrifying moment her dogs were cornered by an aggressive dog during a nighttime walk.
Luna scrambled up a tree for safety but the dog then turned its attention to Allison's two small dogs. "They need out about six or seven times a day and we were just on our usual late walk. My cats always accompany us, but only Luna came this time. The other one must have been feeling the cold or something.
“We’re just walking and I heard this ruckus behind me and suddenly my cat’s up a tree. The boxer is at the bottom barking like mad at her. I asked the owner to get it to stop but then it ran at me and the chihuahuas. It was circling us, it was terrifying."She said: “I asked him again to get his dog under control and told him I’d be reporting him, which he replied by calling me all the names under the sun. It was a torrent of abuse, swearing, the lot.
