When an animal rescue officer attended to retrieve the young female cat, she was still scared after being traumatised by the incident
An animal charity had condemned a pet owner after a cat was found abandoned in a crate with a litter tray outside of a petrol station in Edinburgh. A concerned member of the public found the animal in Pitt Street on Monday and alerted the Scottish SPCA.
. The charity has now condemned the actions of the person who abandoned her and said it was "absolutely not the right way to give up an animal".
