🔴 Ten killed in mass shooting at club amid Chinese Lunar New Year celebration in California

Sgt Bob Boese of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the shooting was reported at 10.22pm local time on Saturday at a business on Garvey Avenue. The motive for the shooting is not yet clear, he said. At least 10 other victims are in the hospital following the shooting, he added, in various conditions from stable to critical.
The city is home to about 60,000 people including a large Asian population. Videos being shared on social media showed a large police presence in the area and firefighters treating victims.
