A boy has been charged
Police were called yesterday to Houndshill following reports of an assault with a knife. Officers arrested two boys aged 16 and 17 at the scene.
Lancashire Constabulary has confirmed that no serious injuries were suffered during the incident. A teenager has now been charged with a number of offences including Attempt Grievous Bodily Harm and Threatening with a Bladed Article. A statement from Lancashire Constabulary said: "After consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, a 17-year-old male from Blackpool has been charged with Attempt Grievous Bodily Harm, Affray and Threatening with a Bladed Article. "He has been remanded into police custody and will appear at Blackpool Magistrates Court tomorrow . The 2nd male arrested has been released under investigation."
