Police were called following reports that a dog attacked a swan.
One witness described the attack as “savage” and was deeply concerned by what he saw because “swans are an endangered species”.Herts Police said no crimes were reported, and a force spokesperson told thePolice said they did not know the breed of the dog.was broken into between 4.30pm and 11.06pm on Saturday .
Glass was smashed and the home was ransacked in a search of the address. It is not yet known if anything was stolen, police added.The force is seeking further information and anyone with information or relevant CCTV/doorbell camera footage can call 101, quoting reference number 41/70359/23.
