Thomas Begg has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs and possessing criminal property after officers seized the cash from a property. He was charged after officers in patrol tried to stop a man who was acting suspiciously, on Friday, August 25.
After a police chase, the suspect was arrested and a search of a nearby address was then carried out. Officers found 25kg of suspected cannabis, a number of wraps of cocaine and heroin, around £100,000 in cash and suspected ammunition.The 19-year-old, of Haslemere, Whiston, appeared at Liverpool Youth Magistrate’s Court on Monday, August 28 and was remanded to next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, September 25.
The investigation involves Operation Medusa as part of ongoing efforts to tackle County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation.
