Officers have arrested 10 people across Wirral, Liverpool, St Helens, Sefton and Knowsley
On Thursday, August 24, officers led by Merseyside Police’s Protecting Vulnerable People unit, carried out an operation in Wirral, Liverpool, St Helens, Sefton and Knowsley. Of the 10 arrested, Anthony Dwyer, aged 42, of Melverley Road, Kirkby, has been charged with two breaches of a non-molestation order.
"The operation targeted outstanding suspects of domestic violence and those we believe are responsible for recent domestic abuse against their partners, ex-partners and family members. Domestic abuse isn’t just physical – it can be emotional, sexual, financial or controlling behaviour.
