The prime minister told journalists on a flight to Bali heading to the G20 summit that gaining control of illegal immigration in Britain is something he has 'spent more time working on than anything else'.
"I do think that the absolute priority that British people have right now, as do I, is to grip illegal migration," Mr Sunak told the travelling press pack en route to Indonesia.
