The Met Police confirmed Waterloo Bridge was closed to traffic and officers made 29 arrests, with the bridge opening a short time afterwards. "They [the protests] are disruptive. People tell me they don't like the methods. They agree with the cause but they don't like the methods, and I implore anyone who's got a better idea to give us it," she said.
