But the Home Secretary's attacks on her own party's record suggest she's braced for Opposition

But the biggest danger for the Tories is that these conferences suggest their party is not just out of touch with mainstream opinion on the role of religion in politics, but out of touch with daily economic reality. For those suffering from food, mortgage and energy bill hikes, on top of years of squeezed wages, more Tory infighting may look pretty enraging too.
