Hurricane Idalia is projected to make landfall today as a Category 4 storm with winds of at least 130mph
Sue Radford has moved to reassure fans amid a hurricane warning as she took her family to a Florida theme park.
It comes as authorities warned of a "catastrophic storm surge and destructive winds" when the storm moves ashore this morning . Idalia was packing sustained winds of 120mph early on Wednesday, after growing into a Category 2 system on Tuesday afternoon.It was projected to make landfall later on Wednesday morning as a Category 4 storm with winds of at least 130mph in the lightly populated Big Bend region, where the Florida Panhandle curves into the peninsula.
Members of Britain's biggest family didn't seem to be deterred by the weather forecast as they ventured to Magic Kingdom Park for a day out. The theme park at Walt Disney World Resort features classic attractions, fireworks, musical parades and Disney Characters. She then shared a series of pictures with her 516,000 followers, including a lamp post with an orange pumpkin-shaped Mickey Mouse sculpture and a group photo of some of the children posing in front of the Cinderella Castle.
