Chrono Odyssey is an upcoming open-world MMO planned for Xbox Series X|S with ambitions to"set a new standard for MMORPGs." Check out the new gameplay trailer and let us know what you think.is an MMO featuring a sprawling open world to explore, environments that react to your actions, a combat system that prioritises controls and unpredictability, and a mechanic that allows you to manipulate time.
As for combat, we'll have six classes to choose from: Swordsman, Ranger, Sorcerer, Berserker, Paladin, and Assassin. Each class will be able to equip two weapons that can be switched in real-time to offer a combat experience that fits your playstyle.
By using the Chronotector device, you'll have the ability to stop and rewind time in Chrono Odyssey, as well as explore alternate timelines. Npixel says that the Chronotector will"unlock a truly unique adventure experience that sets Chrono Odyssey apart from any other games in its genre." How exactly time manipulation will work when playing with other players, we're not sure, but it's certainly an interesting concept.
