Loterton Hall offers free admission if an accompanying adult has a Leeds Card
Every bit your classic country house, a Leeds stately home is the perfect day out for a family - and at this one, you can take your youngest kids for free.
All under fives can go in free of charge. Eighteen-year-olds and younger must be accompanied by an adult with a Leeds Card for free admission - otherwise they'd have to pay £4.50.Leeds Cards can be purchased for £15 a year, with a cheaper option at £5 a year for those on a certain income, disability related benefits or over 60.
Lotherton Hall visitors used to be able to marvel at a great range of exotic birds, including flamingos, but due to the growing number of Avian Flu cases in the UK, Wildlife World’s Africa walkthrough has been closed for the foreseeable future. "New introductions include maras, porcupines and hornbills who are all part of the Wildlife World's breeding programme."
