At 8pm on Sunday, tens of thousands of nurses returned to picket lines that just a few weeks ago – after a deal was struck over pay – ministers,In the weeks since, members of the Royal College of Nursing, as well as their colleagues at Unite, voted to reject the Government’s pay offer, even though two of the biggest unions in the NHS, Unison and GMB, voted in favour of the deal.
