The former Emmerdale star spoke out about his health after signing up to the BBC One dance contest
Adam Thomas has shared the true extent of his struggles before receiving a 'painful' health diagnosis which he recently shared with fans. The former Emmerdale star is among the 15 celebrities who have signed up to Strictly Come Dancing which starts on Saturday .
He said his diagnosis came after several blood tests and visits to doctors and hospitals. The Waterloo Road actor has since been sharing how he's trying to manage the pain with regular swim sessions and getting back to his routine in the gym.Ahead of the show's launch, the Waterloo Road actor opened up about his diagnosis and the struggles that have come with it, as he told press, via OK! Magazine: "So far, so good.
It comes after Adam was flooded with support as he shared a major update on his Strictly journey. The former soap star, who played Adam Barton in Emmerdale, took to Instagram on Monday morning as he shared a first look at his Strictly transformation in his first official promo shot.In the snap, the 35-year-old Manchester star could be seen sporting a silky black patterned shirt under a sparkling black jacket which had been teamed with a smart pair of trousers and patent shoes.
