Bobby is best known for his role as Freddie, son of Maureen "Little Mo" Slater inSpeaking about hitting the Strictly dancefloor, he told BBC Breakfast: "I'm excited for a change, I love to dance. To perform live will be scary, daunting, but there's a real difference between acting and dancing live and having time to prepare.
"It is going to be a rush I haven't felt before. I just like to party that's it really, house and disco. I have good rhythm but as far as ballroom and Latin, in terms of proper dancing, I've not done much." He added that he had dressed up as a pumpkin for EastEnders so the sequins on Strictly will not put him off.
