Strictly Come Dancing star Amanda Abbington has sadly quit the show following an absence from our screens, it has been confirmed.
After introducing the programme, the MEN reports Fleur East said: "We've received the news that Amanda is not returning to Strictly."She then read out an official statement from a Strictly spokesperson, which read: "Amanda Abbington is unable to continue in Strictly Come Dancing and has decided to withdraw from the competition. The show wishes her all the bet for the future.
Rumours of a rift between her and Giovanni have also been making headlines, with the pair strongly denying a fallout during It Takes Two last week.
