The duo's disheartening blow to morale comes exactly seven days after show-openers Nigel Harman and his professional partner Katya Jones kicked off Movie Week with a passionate Jive performance to the Batman theme music.
Commenting on Ellie's harshly-reviewed performance this week, one fan of the show wrote on Reddit: "It’s the curse of going first. If she had performed mid-show I’m certain she would have got straight 8s".
