'Strange' lights have had a Shropshire Star reader scratching his head over what he saw.
The reader told us that he saw 'weird laser like lights' coming over from Welshpool towards Shrewsbury and told us about it on Sunday evening.lights was seen hovering over Habberley
Similar lights in the past have been shown to be from meteors, and it just so happens that the Orionid meteor shower peaked on Saturday and will last until November 7. In a paper posted on Science the academics have called for controls to be put in place.
