He admitted his behaviour was 'vile'
A stalker constantly messaged his ex-partner and made derogatory comments about her on her daughter's Facebook posts. Psychiatrists and a probation officer regard Dion Butler as a "high-risk" to anyone he is in a relationship with, Nottingham Crown Court heard on Tuesday .
She went to Scarborough with a friend - but had to cut the holiday short when Butler sent nasty messages to her, her friend and daughter. In one call he threatened to smash up her house and called her a rude name.After this she was bombarded with no caller ID calls, which she believed to be from Butler. He also posted the derogatory comments about her on her daughter's Facebook posts, leading up to his arrest and charge for stalking, causing serious alarm or distress.
Butler seemed to accept the end of the relationship - but what followed next, "to borrow his phrase, 'was vile'", said Mr Gimson.
