The Loose Women star has made no secret of her confusion over the royal family, having previously stated on the ITV show in 2018 that she didn’t get ‘any of it’.recently went viral following the Queen’s death on September 8, with her many fans leaping to her defense. In a new interview, Stacey shared her belief that the country has its priorities wrong and the money going to the royals should be instead going to people in need.
‘I have nothing against the monarchy and the Queen seemed like a lovely lady, but I don’t understand why we pay a contribution to one of the wealthiest families in the world,’ she said. Speaking about her historic clip, Stacey continued: ‘Some of our kids weren’t even getting school lunches, and to know a huge amount of money is going to somebody who doesn’t need it, I just couldn’t get my head around that.’I wonât allow a bad word to be said about Stacey Solomon. She articulated a valid, widely held viewpoint. Itâs not malicious and more importantly, these comments were unearthed from 2018. They werenât made in the aftermath of the Queenâs death.
