LIVE A587 St Walburgas Road closed in Blackpool after crash
The incident took place on the A587 St Walburga's Road shortly before 6.20pm on Friday evening .
Officers from Lancashire Constabulary and paramedics from North West Ambulance Service have taken over the road for the time being with it closed to traffic in both directions.The closure is in place from the A586 Poulton Road to Grange Road. No indication has been given yet as to when the road will reopen.
Traffic monitoring website Inrix says: "A587 St Walburga's Road in both directions closed, slow traffic due to accident from A586 Poulton Road to Grange Road. Closed since 18:25."
