He accused her of being unfaithful before launching the attack which caused the wound which required six stitches
William Gracie, 63, turned on Margaret Gracie, 60, at their home in Glasgow's Springburn on April 18, 2022.
Prosecutor Hannah Sweeney said:"Gracie and the victim argued with Gracie making accusations that she had cheated on him."Gracie punched and kicked her body and struck her to the back of the head with a Sellotape holder causing an open bleeding wound."She found her mum crying and bleeding pointing blame on Gracie.
Gracie was arrested while Margaret was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to the head wound which required six stiches to close.
