A waterpark in Devon gets planning permission to proceed with a £3m upgrade.

New waterslides, an indoor play area and a climbing centre are to be installed at Splashdown Quaywest waterpark in Goodrington, Paignton, theOperators Lemur Attractions said the improvements would mean better facilities for young families.

According to the plans, a new beach cafe and wet weather attractions would be among the developments. Managing director Alan Richmond said the investment would secure the future of the water park and leisure facilities.
