Huge gusts of wind have been battering certain locations, with more bad weather on the way this weekend.
Anyone travelling to Spain this weekend has been warned that some extreme weather conditions are set to hit over the next few days.
This comes after hazardous storms hit the popular holiday destination of Majorca last week, with severe winds pulling trees out of the ground and sending objects flying. Taking to Twitter, AEMET warned: “Next week, when the meteorological autumn begins, it will be colder than normal for the time of year in most of the country. It's also expected to be rainy all week in the north of the peninsula, with the rainfall spreading to the Balearic Islands as well.
The weather in Spain caused chaos last week when a cruise ship in Majorca crashed into an oil tanker after breaking free, injuring several passengers on board, according to managers.
