Loose Women panelist Sophie Morgan has confirmed today that British Airways has agreed to pay for repairs to her wheelchair after it was damaged during a recent flight

Loose Women panelist Sophie Morgan has revealed that British Airways has told her it will pay for damage to her wheelchair equipment, after a flight with the airline.

In an Instagram clip to her stories on Saturday, the presenter, 38, said: “British Airways have said they are going to pay for any repairs or replacements that I need, because there’s an electric fault that’s happened. I don’t know how yet, I haven’t got to the bottom I’m grateful for that… All things considered, it could be a lot worse, but it just shouldn’t be the case in the first place.”

Sophie, who has also presented Crufts, the Paralympics, The One Show and Dispatches, said it is not the first time it has happened to her and that she will have a meeting with BA, which was already set for Monday before this incident, to discuss the issue
