Gunners left 'very frustrated' after twice ceding leads and losing Declan Rice to injury ahead of their clash with Man City in a fortnight

The Gunners could have gone 2-0 up after Romero’s own-goal when Gabriel Jesus won back possession from James Maddison inside the area, but his 14-yard effort was blazed over the crossbar.

“We had control of the game, could have made it 2-0 with Gabi and then you concede the goal and you have to bounce back. We did and scored the goal but it’s a shame that within a minute you concede the other one. In a further blow to Arsenal’s hopes of overcoming the champions when the two sides meet in a fortnight, £105m summer signing Declan Rice was substituted at half-time with injury.
