A NEW business that specialises in delivering freshly cooked lobster has launched in Glasgow.

It's In the Bag, which was created by Zimbabwean-born Glasgow chef Shantell Sikhosana, will allow residents to have various types of seafood including prawns and mussels delivered straight to their door.

The 25-year-old decided to pursue a seafood delivery service after learning to cook lobster during lockdown.Shantell said: “I’m so excited to launch it’s ‘In the Bag’ at Websters, the early feedback from customers during trials have been so positive. “It’s something completely different for Glasgow, a city which loves its fresh seafood, and we will continue to innovate as we go to satisfy customers’ taste buds.

“I first learned to cook around the age of 10 when I lived in Zimbabwe. It’s In the Bag all started during lockdown when I saw videos of lobster and other seafood being cooked by the boil and instantly wanted to learn how to do it. “A business down south was already doing it very well, so I contacted them directly and they helped me understand and learn how to prepare seafood to perfection just like they did.and now we have a brilliant new business in Glasgow and are buzzing for what comes next.
