New relaxed late-night bar Haus is set to open on Royal Exchange Square at the site of the former Shimmy nightclub and we've been given a wee look behind the scenes as they get ready to open.

Haus will open next week on Wednesday, August 30 and will take over the former site of the Shimmy nightclub. It's been described by the firm behind it as a relaxed bar with a focus on live entertainment which will be a"chilled place" to drink and dance.

Open from the afternoon until 3 am on Wednesday until Sunday, the bar will be free entry, and is described as the"new home of after-work get-togethers".Sign up to our daily Glasgow LiveThe bright new signage has already appeared above the doorway of the new late night bar.
