🔴 Six people, including three children, have been killed in an attack on a nursery in China
Violent crime is rare in China, but there has been a rise in school attacks in recent years. Two children were killed and 16 others were wounded in a similar attack in a school in theIn 2010, there was a spate of mass stabbings at schools across the country, leaving nearly 100 dead.
Experts have said that poor treatment for mental illness, and a backlash against China’s restrictions at the height of the pandemic are typically blamed for the attacks, which usually involve knives. Gun ownership is illegal in China.
