Katie Lewis and Sarah Lewis started the fight on St Patrick's Day
Two sisters 'drank too much' free booze at a funeral before starting a brawl in a Wetherspoon pub and dragged staff members by their hair.
She then became abusive to staff and was walked out of the premises by them as a result. Katie Lewis, 40, saw her sister being taken out of the pub and jumped up before trying to grab the staff member by the hair. Both pleaded guilty to affray. Sarah Lewis has five previous convictions for nine offences, while her sister has 21 convictions for 43 offences.
Defending Katie Lewis, Martin Saxon told the court that his client had seen her sister being "manhandled" and then "all hell broke loose" afterwards. He said that alcohol had been free at the funeral and the fight was a result of the two sisters having drank too much.
