Sinéad O'Connor had a string of public romances and tied the knot four times
People across the world have paid tribute to singer Sinéad O'Connor after it was announced yesterday that she had tragically passed away at the age of 56. Revealing the sad news, Sinéad’s family said that they were “devastated” to share the news regarding their “beloved Sinéad”.
The pair were married between 1987 and 1991 and welcomed a son, called Jake, together. Despite going their separate ways, the pair seemingly remained close and John played the drums on her 2013 tour. Meanwhile, in an interview with The Guardian in 2021, Sinéad said that John was “still my best friend”.
In 2004, Sinéad and Irish folk singer Donal Lunny welcomed a son called Shane into the world. Sadly, Shane passed away 18 months ago, with an unverified Twitter account believed to be that of Sinéad paying tribute to the youngster following his passing.
