Just Stop Oil protesters have doused the front of New Scotland Yard in orange paint hours after the incident at the National Gallery.
Eco-activists blocked the road in front of the Metropolitan Police headquarters shortly after 2.30pm.The iconic grey New Scotland Yard revolving sign, and the ground surrounding it, was sprayed in orange paint.
A spokesperson from the force said: ‘Several individuals ‘locked on’ or glued themselves onto the road surface.
