Heartbroken relatives of drowned mum Nicola Bulley are facing fresh torment after ghouls used her photographs as part of a dating website scam. Her loved ones were left reeling after our sister title the Mirror raised the alarm over fake online profiles featuring her images.
The mum-of-two died after falling into the River Wyre, in Lancashire, while out walking her dog Willow. She was reported missing in January this year but it took 23 days to find her body. One profile shows Nicola's face but says she is a woman called Faustina, 46. Another claims she is a 41-year-old called Elorm. Both are supposedly from London.
But a source close to Nicola's family said lawyers would be informed - and will be monitoring developments. Smooch.com, which charges members £23 a month, promises to deliver romance but has a lowly one-star rating on consumer website TrustPilot.
