Motorists over 70 must renew their driving licence every three years, while drivers who are younger than 70 must renew their licence once every 10 years. If you fail to renew your licence you could face a £1,000 fine, the DVLA has warned.
The DVLA reminded drivers about the rule on Twitter, writing: "After you turn 70, you need to renew your licence every three years. It’s easy, quick and secure to do it online."
