Share with us the worst supermarket substitution fails you've received from an online shop
More and more people are shopping online and with most of the major supermarkets now offering home delivery and click and collect services it's easy to see why people would want to do their weekly shop from the comfort of their own sofa.
Several supermarkets, such as Asda, Sainsbury's. Tesco, and Ocado, do offer substitutions, which most of the time are sensible. However, there are times shoppers have been given some pretty silly replacement items. Last week, we reported on a Sainsbury's customer who was left in hysterics when she realised the supermarket had replaced her eggs with egg custard tarts. Here at LancsLive we've had our fair share of strange subsitutions including being given chocolate mousse instead of salami.
Some LancsLive readers have already shared their bizarre experiences, including KatKatrawitz who said: "I once had passion fruit replaced with passion fruit scented fabric conditioner."
