Sheffield children's football club pitch ruined by bike gang

Earl Marshall Soccer School's pitch in Sheffield is being ruined weekly by a motor and quad bike gang.

Shaun Pask, who manages the junior team, said the vandalism could lead to the closure of the clubA children's football club in Sheffield may have to close due to dirt bike vandals destroying its pitch.

Sheffield City Council said: "The intimidation of children, or people of any age, is not acceptable." The ruts in the grass also mean the young players could seriously injure themselves, club members said.
