Residents of a Shankill Road apartment block say their homes are "constantly full of flies" due to a lack of bin collections at the property.
As a result, two of the bins are permenantly full and have "become too heavy for anyone to move" and residents are having to deal with large mounds of rubbish in the car park because there is not enough space in the other bins.They said: "We have been contacting the council and Radius Housing for months trying to sort out this issue with the bins but nothing ever seems to be done about it.
"There are vulnerable people who live in these apartments and we should not have to deal with this week after week. It has got to the point where some people are keeping their waste in their apartments until they are able to get to the dump themselves, but not everyone is in a position to do that." “We have been made aware that the bins are being used by non-tenants and we are taking action regarding this.”
