A second man, aged 28, has been charged with the murder of Shane Whitla in Lurgan, County Armagh
A 28-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Shane Whitla in Lurgan, County Armagh.He will appear before Lisburn Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
This comes after 25-year-old Kevin Conway from Deeny Drive in Lurgan appeared in court charged with the murder of Shane Whitla on Friday. Mr Whitla, 39, was shot in an alleyway near his home on 12 January before making his way to Lord Lurgan Park, where he collapsed and died.Mr Conway appeared before Craigavon Magistrates' Court and denied murdering Mr Whitla.A detective constable told the court he could connect the accused to the murder charge.On Thursday, a 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with the murder.
