The Good Morning Britain and This Morning regular revealed how she is staying trim after putting on weight earlier this year
Shameless actress and This Morning and Good Morning Britain regular Tina Malone has lost an incredible 12 stone - and has shared her secrets. The actress and TV personality appeared on GMB earlier this month after having a facelift and viewers said she was unrecognisable.
When this happened she launched a new health kick and added that she didn’t want to go down the route of surgery again if possible. Instead she ate small healthy meals four times a day and she took up jogging. “A gastric band doesn’t change your mind or your personality,” she told Closer. One of the keys to her overall weight loss was stopping drinking alcohol - she hasn’t had any for the last 25 years, previously admitting to bingeing on “30 to 40 gin and tonics”.
“We all tend to look for different crutches. I think I am more likely to go in and get a sausage roll and the pasties – everything in moderation – if it’s at the end of my road and it’s open at 12 at night. It’s like everything – I’m 25 years sober, 10 years drug free but if you have an addictive personality, if something is tempting you the more likely you are, especially in these difficult times.
