Things finally seem to be moving on the transfer front for Leeds United, with last week’s signing of Joel Piroe followed up on Wednesday by the addition of Djed Spence on a season long loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
But which new faces will be lining up in a Leeds shirt this week? We asked the fanbase who they would like to see signed before Friday’s deadline, and who they would rather avoid. The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder is a Germany international, and would have brought vital experience to the Leeds midfield – even though he’s still only 26.
The Ghana international bagged 18 goals and 14 assists in all competitions, and at 25-year-old, he’s only just entering his peak. This summer hasn’t been so happy for him though, and reports of him training alone ahead of his inevitable exit has alerted a number of clubs to his availability.
